Shortbread’s popularity dates back to the 16th century and its refinement is credited to Mary, Queen of Scots. Shortbread was once considered an expensive luxury for special occasions and weddings.

Crafted in the USA, this natural stoneware pan lends a beautiful, old-fashioned touch to open shelves when not in use. It creates stunning triangular wedges, which were known as 'petticoat tails', embossed with a Thistle or square cookie design with our American Butter Art version.

Each stoneware pan comes boxed with a recipe booklet with shortbread recipes that will surely please.  9' diam x 11.5 with handles

Proudly made in the USA, all of the clays are custom formulas and mixed on-site using raw materials from North American ceramic suppliers. Everything is non-toxic and safe for daily use and will always be non-toxic, lead-safe, and cadmium-safe.
 
The non-glaze stoneware ceramic is designed so that the Shortbread Pans bakes evenly.
